Job Summary
Estimate and bid commercial and light industrial painting projects exceeding $1M, then manage awarded work from preconstruction through close-out. Act as the primary contact for general contractors and property managers while coordinating with field leadership to ensure schedule, budget, and quality standards are met. Build relationships with repeat clients and utilize estimating software to improve accuracy and communication. This hands-on role offers long-term stability and growth within a well-established contractor with a consistent project pipeline.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Paint Project Manager and/or Estimator
- Direct experience in commercial painting
- Proficiency with PlanSwift or similar estimating software
- Strong understanding of commercial painting systems, scopes, and specifications
- Ability to clearly present estimates, proposals, and services to clients
- Comfortable using technology to streamline estimating and project management
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
