Job Summary
Prepare food of consistent quality in a hotel kitchen by following recipe cards and production standards, manage timely start of prepped items, date and rotate perishables, check pars for shift use, assist in keeping buffet stocked, and ensure proper use and cleaning of kitchen equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers, and food processors. Strong emphasis on meeting HEI Hotels and Resorts standards for portion control, waste reduction, and cost management; requires dexterity and ability to lift up to 100 lbs; requires effective communication with supervisors and colleagues in a hospitality setting.
Required Qualifications
