Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Joliet, IL provides comprehensive resident care in daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, grooming, restorative nursing procedures, and retraining. The role supports nurses, maintains clean and orderly resident areas, responds to call lights, assists with admissions and transfers, records vital signs and weights in EMR, and reports changes in resident condition. Required Qualifications
- Must hold a current Certified Nurse's Assistant certificate in the State of Illinois
- A high school diploma is preferred
- Must have ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine, repetitive job duties
- Show willingness to provide good nursing care
- Be considerate, pleasant, and professional
- Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for residents
- Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH, and HFS regulations as related to duties
