Job Summary
Manage requirement analysis and oversee all deliveries covering business growth initiatives, regulatory mandates, control enhancement, and operations support work for the full trade lifecycle. Lead collaboration with Front, Middle, and Back office users alongside local and global technology teams to execute infrastructure services strategy and hosting initiatives. This role operates in Japan, supporting complex service centers and specialized onshore teams across FX, Rates, Equities, Prime, and FIF asset classes. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Japanese, navigate domestic settlement and reporting infrastructure, and function as a self-starter in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a PM/BA with strong knowledge of how projects are run and managed in both waterfall and agile based environments
- Experience working on multiple asset classes (FX, Rates, Equities, Prime, FIF etc.) with knowledge across different post trade processes like settlements, reporting, asset servicing, trade validation, confirmations etc.
- Bilingual in English and Japanese to communicate with business stakeholders, other IT teams and external vendors
- Understanding of the local market, processes and regulations within Japan including domestic settlement and reporting infrastructure and requirements
- Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a very dynamic environment, with rapidly changing priorities and under little supervision
- Soft skillset on influence, documentation, communication and leadership
