Job Summary
Lead the Plumbing VDC and Prefabrication departments by coordinating with Project Managers, Foremen, and Operations to ensure projects are designed, coordinated, fabricated, and installed efficiently. Produce detailed plumbing and piping models using Revit, develop fabrication spools with Stratus, and create accurate MEP drawings from construction documents. Interpret blueprints to support fabrication, oversee prefabrication activities from design through installation, and develop production schedules and workflows. Monitor fabrication quality, review project documentation for material quantities, and conduct job site visits to verify field conditions and resolve coordination issues. Promote a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while mentoring teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading commercial plumbing and/or piping work as a Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, or similar leadership role
- High School Diploma or GED or 15 semester (22 quarter) hours college level education
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing and piping installation methods and fabrication processes
- Experience interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Working knowledge of HVAC piping systems and plumbing codes
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead teams while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to identify constructability issues and develop practical field solutions
- Experience working collaboratively with field operations, project management, and fabrication teams
- Able to clearly communicate in written and verbal English
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required
