Job Summary
Full-time Plumbing Technology Instructor at Hinds Community College, teaching Fundamentals of Plumbing/Pipefitting and related courses to students. Responsibilities include developing course competency-based outlines, preparing lesson materials, maintaining attendance and grade records, guiding student placement and employment related to training, coordinating curriculum updates, and fostering industry partnerships to support program success. The role may involve teaching day classes with the option to teach night classes, and may require travel between campuses as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher in Plumbing Technology or closely related field
- 4 or more years of work experience in the Plumbing field
- Journeyman or Master Journeyman License will be considered
- Teaching experience preferred
