Plumbing Technician - (Half Moon Cay - Bahamas)

Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain full ranges of plumbing systems, including air, gas, and vacuum lines, while troubleshooting domestic water and drain issues. Operate power tools, sewer cleaning machines, and hand tools to replace seals, unclog fixtures, and cut, weld, and assemble pipes and fittings. Respond to emergency mechanical calls, inspect systems for safety, and collaborate with contractors to follow blueprints. Perform light construction, carpentry, and electrical work as required, maintaining accurate material records. This role requires a Bahamas plumbing license, five years of experience, and the ability to work outdoors in changing climates.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least five (5) years' work experience in a related field
- Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with employees and guests
- Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures
- Ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms
- Ability to effectively present information
- Ability to respond to questions from guests, managers, and co-workers
- Must be physically fit
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment
- Ability to multi-task and think critically
- Bahamas plumbing license
