Plumbing Services Manager

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations of the plumbing service business, managing maintenance, time and material, and service projects while overseeing the regional profit and loss. Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service delivery and proactive issue resolution, serving as the primary point of contact for building owners. Lead and develop a high-performing service team by recruiting, coaching, and mentoring staff while championing a safety-first culture. Collaborate with account management, billing, and dispatch teams to ensure seamless service delivery, and participate in senior leadership meetings to drive operational planning and business strategy. Recruit, coach, and mentor technical and support staff while fostering employee engagement and retention.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience
- Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in a plumbing, mechanical, or building services environment
- Demonstrated experience managing maintenance, time and material, and service project operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, work-in-progress, and P&L performance
- Strong understanding of plumbing service operations, construction practices, quality standards, and applicable regulations
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP or computerized scheduling systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and continuous improvement
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading multi-trade service operations
- Experience supporting business development and maintenance agreement growth
- Familiarity with integrated building systems and lifecycle service delivery
- Experience participating in strategic planning and senior leadership initiatives
- Knowledge of modern field service management software and operational reporting tools
