Job Summary
Diagnose root causes of plumbing issues and execute timely repairs for residential systems, including sinks, water heaters, toilets, and appliances. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing fixtures while ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Communicate service options and upgrades to clients, explain work being performed, and obtain approval before proceeding. Maintain detailed service records with before-and-after documentation and keep the service truck clean and operational. Work alongside dispatch and customer service teams, participate in daily training and meetings, and mentor apprentices. Maintain a clean driving record and possess a journeyman license or ability to obtain one within six months.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, and filtration
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Journeyman / Tradesmen license or able to obtain within 6 months
- Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers
- Knowledge of drain machines, camera, and locater equipment
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Basic computer skills, ability to use an iPad to document work
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 150 pounds
- Must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces
- Must have close vision
