Job Summary
Diagnose plumbing issues quickly and thoroughly, then explain features and benefits of repair or replacement options to homeowners before performing work. Install and repair water heaters, faucets, toilets, tubs, sinks, garbage disposals, gas lines, and piping systems while maintaining clean, code-compliant workmanship. Use field management software to build estimates and document all services, ensuring proper tool accounting and vehicle maintenance. Transport materials to job sites and communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the process.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of residential service plumbing experience (not just new construction or commercial)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift equipment and work in tight areas
- Ability to follow systems, processes, and checklists
Desired Qualifications
- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
- Strong communications/interpersonal skills
- Confidence presenting options (not high-pressure sales—just service-based clarity)
- A customer-first mindset and team-player attitude
- Have the basic knowledge of how a plumbing system works
