Plumbing Project Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct plumbing and fire suppression design calculations, equipment selections, and code research for major projects while supervising design efforts and attending team meetings. Develop overall system designs, edit specifications, and perform site visits and construction administration to ensure compliance with standards and adherence to project budgets and schedules. Mentor junior engineers and technicians, provide regular status updates to senior leadership, and collaborate with clients and contractors to establish design criteria. Requires a Registered P.E. and knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit. Travel is required for client presentations and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Registered P.E. in at least one state
- Understanding of engineering calculations and sprinkler hydraulic calculations
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit software
- Knowledge of current codes and practices
- Travel required for presentations, client meeting etc.
