Job Summary
Plumbing-Mechanical Systems Supervisor at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital oversees the Plumbing and Preventative Maintenance Shops, ensuring safe practices, directing recruitment and orientation, assigning and scheduling work, conducting on-the-job training, monitoring performance, and ensuring work logged in the CMMS. - FDNY Torch use of flammable gases/cutting/welding G-60 within 1 year
- FDNY Stand pipe/sprinkler certification S-13 within 1 year
- FDNY Fireguard certification F60 within 1 year
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness for Compressed Gases G-17/G-71 within 1 year
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness for Storage, Handling, and use of Commercial Cryogenic Systems G-79 within 1 year
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness for Handling and Dispensing of Carbon Dioxide Containers G-82 within 1 year
- ASSE Medical Gas Maintainer 6040, COFG-17 or COFG71, COFG79 and COFG82 within 1 year
- Completion of appropriate Vocational/Technical School training
