Job Summary
Manage the plumbing department and team to ensure jobs complete on time with exceptional customer satisfaction. Supervise field personnel including supervisors, plumbers, and apprentices while providing coaching, training, and mentorship. Oversee project completion from start to finish, tracking man hours and profitability, and monitor tools and equipment availability. Ensure all work meets code requirements and enforces safety policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment. Create and maintain employment records, disciplinary files, and reports. Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and strategies. Requires 10 years as a plumber and 3 years in a supervisory role. Hybrid schedule includes office and field work in residential and commercial properties; occasional nights and weekends required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be familiar with technology including Microsoft365 suite of applications
- Minimum 10 years experience in the field as a plumber
- Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory or management role
- Must be able to lift, lower, push, and pull objects of up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to continually stand, walk, climb, ascend/descend ladders, bend, stoop, crawl, and crouch, frequently in tight spaces, for extended periods of time, in indoor and outdoor conditions
- Must be able to continually use hands/fingers to handle, feel, utilize tools, and operate machinery
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license and insurable driving history
- Must pass background screen, drug test, and motor vehicle records check
- Generally Monday through Friday 7AM to 4PM, additional nights and weekends are periodically required as needed; must be generally available via phone during off hours
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Service Titan preferred
