Job Summary
Plumbing Maintenance Technician responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, faucets, condensate lines, gas piping, ice machines, and kitchen equipment, plus rodding and clearing sewers. Also evaluates and repairs hot water systems, water coolers, condensate systems, and programs HVAC systems; maintains kitchen appliances and gas lines; performs field and stadium maintenance, winterization, seasonal and preventative maintenance; manages inventory and responds to urgent maintenance and emergencies; ensures safety compliance with codes and manufacturer guidelines; enters work orders and supports district operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; plumbing, HVAC, or facilities certification preferred
- Proven experience in plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, or facilities maintenance
- Ability to evaluate, program, and repair water, gas, and condensate systems
- Experience with winterizing equipment, snow removal, and field/stadium maintenance
- Knowledge of safety standards and ability to work in confined or outdoor spaces
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform hands-on maintenance tasks
- Basic computer skills for work orders, equipment programming, and inventory tracking
