Plumbing Journeyman

Job Summary
As a Plumbing Journeyman, you will support commercial construction projects by installing plumbing systems including all types of piping such as copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and PEX. Your duties will include reading blueprints, installation of plumbing systems related to healthcare, government, and other large-scale projects, and operating lift equipment. A valid journeyman plumbing license and 1-3 years of commercial plumbing experience are preferred, along with basic mechanical skills and the ability to perform physical tasks. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of commercial plumbing experience
- Valid / current journeyman plumbing license
- Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
- Ability to pass MVR check (if applicable)
- Ability to pass a physical ability test
- Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading / coaching an apprentice and/or helper
- Medical Gas Certification, or ability to obtain
- OSHA 10 hour
Additional Requirements
- Must complete company specific welding, soldering and/or brazing test for employment
- Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
