Job Summary
Execute effective troubleshooting to diagnose root causes of plumbing issues in residential homes, then perform timely repairs on sinks, water heaters, toilets, and appliances while ensuring compliance with local codes. Explain services and pricing to customers, establish rapport to sell products, and document work using an iPad. Maintain your truck, participate in training and meetings, and mentor apprentices. Work Monday through Friday with on-call rotation, earning commission-based pay.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, and filtration
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Plumbing Apprentice License
- Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers
- Knowledge of drain machines, camera, and locator equipment
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Basic computer skills, ability to use an iPad to document work
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds
- Must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces
