Job Summary
Direct-hire Plumbing Inspector role in the Corpus Christi, TX area. Conduct daily inspections on residential new construction sites across a defined service area, focusing on water supply, sanitary sewer, gas piping, and storm drainage. Manage 15–20 inspections per day from a pre-scheduled digital calendar; verify installations meet approved plans, plumbing codes, and safety standards; document findings in company software. Serve as the on-site point of contact for contractors and builders, delivering professional communication and timely inspection reports using company-provided technology. Requires TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License and a minimum of 2 years of plumbing inspection experience; reading and interpreting construction/plumbing plans is required. ICC Residential Building Inspector (B1) or Plumbing Inspector (P1) certifications strongly preferred. Field-based with a company vehicle, laptop, and iPad; potential path to Senior Inspector or Building Official with company-supported certifications. Open to candidates within a 90-mile radius of Corpus Christi, TX.
Required Qualifications
- TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License
- Minimum 2 years of plumbing inspection experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction and plumbing plans
- ICC certification strongly preferred (Residential Building Inspector B1, Plumbing Inspector P1, etc.)
