Job Summary
Assist plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Prepare and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites, then load and unload supplies as needed. Clean and maintain work areas to ensure safety and efficiency while following instructions from licensed plumbers and adhering to safety guidelines. Help identify and troubleshoot basic plumbing issues under supervision, supporting tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes and fittings. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project progress. This role serves as a foundational step for developing a career in the plumbing trade through practical experience and on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in various positions.
- Basic understanding of plumbing tools and materials.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Desired Qualifications
