Job Summary
The Plumbing Foreman leads the field installation of plumbing systems on industrial and commercial construction projects, focusing on productivity, quality, and safety. Responsibilities include supervising teams, training employees, performing pipe testing, reading contract documents, creating As-Built drawings, and ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and safety regulations. Requires a minimum of 10 years in plumbing, effective communication skills, and the ability to solve practical problems in varying situations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years’ industrial/commercial plumbing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
