Job Summary
Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and on-site training to plumbing service technicians. Support the Plumbing Service Manager and Project Managers in executing service work and small projects safely, on schedule, and within labor targets. Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex plumbing service and repair issues, ensuring compliance with codes and company standards. Monitor productivity, identify warranty issues, and communicate concerns to management. Act as the technical field liaison with dispatch during the Service Manager's absence and provide technical input to estimating and project management teams. Assist in training and mentoring technicians to support skill development and succession planning. Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and professional appearance. Ensure technician compliance with all safety policies and job hazard requirements. Respond to after-hours and emergency service needs when required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or plumbing apprenticeship
- 10+ years of commercial plumbing field experience, including service and repair work
- Journeyman Plumber license
- Strong working knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and best practices
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience mentoring or leading technicians
- Extensive safety knowledge and commitment to safe work practices
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to utilize service management systems
- Ability to organize and plan daily responsibilities effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Master Plumber license where applicable
