Job Summary

Manage commercial plumbing construction projects by coordinating with other trades to complete installations within scope and schedule. Lead project crews to install domestic, drainage, and sanitation systems while ensuring safe performance of personnel and equipment. Oversee material management, personnel, schedules, and communication with the project management team, customers, and building officials. Complete required electronic documentation including daily reports, next week plans, and accident reports. Work from ladders, manlifts, and other equipment at various heights using hand and power tools as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
  • Ability to pass MVR check (if applicable) or must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a physical ability test
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
  • Must complete company specific welding, soldering and/or brazing test for employment
  • Requires mechanical aptitude
  • Mathematical and English language skills
  • Strong ability to read and comprehend blueprints and design documents
  • Strong ability to perform take-off of materials from design documents
  • Capable of creating work plan for subordinates and self
  • Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable / coachable attitude
  • Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter
  • Excellent communication and customer services skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Complies and promotes company Safety Policy
  • Ability to lead others including teaching and coaching
  • Ability to coordinate with other trades to complete plumbing/piping installations within project scope and schedule
  • Experience managing project crews to install multiple types of plumbing systems for domestic, drainage and sanitation systems
  • Ability to manage commercial plumbing construction projects
  • Accountable for the safe performance of personnel and equipment
  • Understanding / complies with the company tool policy and can pass these values to less experienced employees
  • Able to install plumbing systems and relatable materials with the use of hand tools and power tools, as needed
  • Able to work from ladders, manlifts and other equipment at various heights
  • 3 years of experience as a plumbing foreman on commercial construction projects
  • 3 years of experience leading teams of 1 – 5 direct reports
  • Current / valid journeyman license
  • Current / valid master license
  • OSHA 30 hour
