Job Summary
Plumbing Foreman responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and draining systems in a commercial setting. Lead a team of mechanics/helpers, compile material lists, study building plans, locate and mark pipe positions, cut openings, thread and join pipes (metal and nonmetal), and perform pressure tests to check for leaks. Requires 5-10 years of commercial plumbing foreman experience, ability to read plans and specifications, and a valid NC driver license. Med-Gas certification is a plus. Temperature is temp-to-hire with Monday–Friday schedule in Raleigh, NC; salary $28.00-$35.00/hour with weekly pay, and pre-employment background/drug screening. Required Qualifications
- 5-10 Years of Commercial Plumbing Foremen Experience
- Experience heavy commercial plumbing work including Cast Iron Bell and Spigot piping, PVC Sanitary Piping, Copper, Pex and Uponor water piping, Vent Piping, Acid Waste Piping, and Brazing copper fittings
- Able to read and comprehend Plans and Specifications, code requirements, and lead a team of mechanics/helpers
- Med-Gas Certification is a plus
- Blueprint Interpretation
- Boiler Installation
- Gas Lines
- Installing Compressed Air Lines, Drain Lines, Piping, & Water Lines
- Overseeing Subcontractors & Inspectors
- Sanitary & Storm Lines
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF A PLUMBING FOREMAN: Must work efficiently and skillfully with hands; lift and carry objects weighing 150 pounds
