Plumbing Field Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee front-line employees by training, organizing schedules, and conducting performance evaluations while handling discipline per company policy. Collaborate with managers to coordinate departmental activities, analyze production data, and inspect products for quality defects. Identify and correct process inefficiencies, ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, and develop strategies for a safe work environment. Manage budget execution with other departmental leaders and maintain proficiency in reading blueprints and using office software. Requires well-rounded knowledge of residential plumbing operations, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to work in the field under varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Well-rounded knowledge of residential plumbing operations
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Must know how to use Desktop computer, Laptop and Tablets
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies
- Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Associate degree in related field
- equivalent industry work experience
- At least three years of supervisory experience
- Customer Service Experience dealing with customer and builder escalated situations
- Prolonged periods of standing, driving and walking
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
- Visual acuity to inspect plumbing systems and installations
- Must be able to work in the field under different weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- At least three years of supervisory experience highly preferred
