Plumbing Estimating Manager

Job Summary
Oversee the daily bid schedule of the estimating department by assigning projects, providing performance feedback, and coaching a team of estimators. Develop and implement efficient estimating processes while establishing standards for templates, bid forms, and proposal formats. Review bid packages and project specifications to develop detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, then present accurate and competitive proposals. Track project costs to identify savings opportunities and perform variance analysis to drive profitability. Support the sales team in developing and pricing proposals for potential projects. Requires 5+ years of plumbing estimating experience with 2-3 years in direct supervision, proficiency in Bolt software, and strong analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing estimating
- 2-3 years in direct supervisory or management capacity
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in Bolt or other estimating software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
