Job Summary
Lead Plumbing Engineer responsible for designing plumbing systems from schematic through construction documents, creating floor plans, riser diagrams, details, schedules, and sections; perform plumbing-related calculations; develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit; coordinate with mechanical, electrical, architectural teams; review submittals and RFIs; ensure code compliance; mentor junior designers and contribute to team development; focus on sustainable, high-performance design and water-conservation initiatives; strong communication and project-management skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing Design Certification
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing design experience in a consulting engineering environment
