Plumbing Engineer in Training

Plumbing EIT assists senior design staff in the execution of technical activities on assigned projects, learns industry standards and company policies, and contributes to design production using Revit and/or CADD. The role involves under-supervision support for design processes, basic engineering calculations, project coordination with other disciplines to determine equipment needs, and preparation of technical documentation and communications with contractors and equipment representatives. The candidate will accompany senior staff on project job site visits to assess field conditions and progress, read blueprints and engineering reports, and participate in internal and external training to gain necessary technical knowledge. An ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college and familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools.
