Job Summary
Plumbing Engineer to manage project budgets, design and implement plumbing systems, and collaborate with multiple teams assigned to projects. Operate with various departments to develop construction and electrical specifications for plumbing projects. Track and ensure compliance with required standards; lead on projects as assigned; perform routine inspection of equipment, provide QA, draft technical documentation, and mentor junior staff. Requires experience in designing plumbing systems for commercial projects, proficiency with AutoCAD/REVIT/Bluebeam, LEED certification a plus, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree
- 3 years experience in plumbing design
- Experience in commercial projects (biotech, semiconductor, educational)
- Experience in conceptual and detailed design for new-construction and TI projects
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects
- Knowledge of plumbing design terminology
- Excellent reading of plumbing design documentation
- Valid driver’s license
- AutoCAD and REVIT software experience
