Job Summary
Plumbing Designer responsible for engineering design evaluations and project design specific to Plumbing Engineering, including independent design of plumbing, medical gas, and fire protection systems; analyze existing plumbing systems; prepare preliminary design, budgets, calculations, life-cycle costs, and equipment selection. Produce drawings and layouts using Revit and/or AutoCAD; prepare technical construction specifications; ensure designs comply with applicable codes and engineering standards and reflect good practices.
Required Qualifications
- Design: Generates creative solutions; translates concepts and information into images; uses feedback to modify designs; applies design principles; demonstrates attention to detail. Have ability to select and size systems and perform hydraulic, fuel gas and medical gas calculations.
