Job Summary
Assist walk-in, will call, and telephone customers with selecting and purchasing products while supporting the outside sales team in meeting customer expectations. Maintain inventory accuracy to increase profits and proactively communicate inventory needs. Develop product knowledge to enhance credibility and drive sales growth. Ensure consistent physical presence in a construction and warehouse environment, operating forklifts and handling tools up to 50 lbs. This role focuses on customer loyalty and transaction volume within Coburn's plumbing division.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
- Must pass company required drug screen
- Must pass physical exam
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead
- Ability to drive/operate forklifts
- Ability to work with tools and equipment
- Considerable mental/visual concentration
- Coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention
- Ability to work in a Construction and Warehouse environment with variable but moderately high noise levels
- Ability to wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required
- Consistent presence at work
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Successful completion of Coburn's Forklift Operator Certification

- 1 year of Customer Service Experience
- 1 year of Sales Experience
- 1 year of Plumbing/Waterworks experience
- Applicable Relative Industry Experience
- Progressive Industry Experience
