Job Summary
Assist experienced plumbers with residential installations, maintenance, service, and repairs by installing and replacing piping, water lines, drains, faucets, toilets, fixtures, and water heaters. Diagnose leaks and drainage problems while preparing tools and materials for service calls. Safely use hand and power tools, keep job sites clean, and follow safety procedures and plumbing codes. Communicate professionally with team members and customers. Work in Houston, TX, with pay ranging from $16 to $24 per hour depending on the employer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with plumbing field work
Desired Qualifications
- Previous plumbing, construction, maintenance, mechanical, or other hands-on trade experience
- Basic knowledge of residential plumbing systems, tools, materials, or repair practices
- Ability and willingness to learn plumbing installation, maintenance, service, and repair techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively alongside experienced plumbers
