Job Summary
Plumbing Apprentice role focused on learning to install, repair, and maintain water heaters and plumbing systems by working closely with experienced plumbers. Responsibilities include assisting with installation and replacement of water heaters, supporting basic repairs and maintenance, diagnosing plumbing issues, recommending solutions, maintaining tools and a clean work environment, delivering excellent customer service in customers’ homes, and following safety guidelines and company procedures. On-the-job training with opportunities for advancement into a licensed plumber role; competitive pay based on experience in a growing company.
Required Qualifications
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Ability to perform physical work (lifting, bending, standing)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
- Prior construction or plumbing experience is a plus, but not required
- An apprentice license is not required to start; willing to obtain a plumbing apprentice license within a specified timeframe after hire
