Job Summary
Execute effective troubleshooting to diagnose root causes of plumbing issues in residential homes, then perform timely repairs on sinks, water heaters, toilets, and appliances. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with local codes. Explain services and provide exact prices before work begins, establishing rapport to sell products and educate customers on finance options. Maintain detailed service records with before-and-after photos, keep your truck clean, and participate in training, meetings, and mentorship of apprentices. Work alongside Customer Service and Dispatch teams, adhering to a Monday through Friday schedule with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, and filtration
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Plumbing Apprentice License (preferred)
- Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
- Service Titan Experience (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Basic computer skills, ability to use an iPad to document work
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language
- Must be able to regularly stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Must be frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds
- Must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must be frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat
- Must be occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
