Plumber - The St. Regis Downtown Dubai

Respond to and attend to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication; visually inspect tools and equipment; identify shut-off valves and utility shut-offs for buildings; maintain inventory and requisition parts as needed. Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts; apply knowledge across air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatics/electronics, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and general building systems. Perform surface preparation, painting, drywall and wood trim repairs, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and thorough cleanup of work areas. Test and troubleshoot repairs on plumbing, electrical components (lamps, switches, outlets), and guestroom items; program televisions; manage engineering-related inventory; follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety policies; assist with landscaping repairs. Demonstrate basic computer skills for inputting schedules and adjusting temperatures; maintain professional appearance and protect company assets; support teamwork and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues. This role requires a High School diploma or GED and a Driver’s License.
