Job Summary
Stadium Plumber responsible for plumbing-related planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the stadium footprint (28,500-seat capacity) including plumbing, heating systems, commercial kitchens, washrooms and drainage. Works within the multi-skilled maintenance team to support day-to-day upkeep and matchday readiness, performing fault finding, repairs, installations and upgrades, while ensuring safety and compliance with health and safety procedures. Requires City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing/Mechanical Services, prior plumbing and maintenance experience, knowledge of building services, DIY skills, strong customer service, problem-solving, organization, and effective cross-team communication. The role includes attendance at home matches/events and delivering high-level technical service within a stadium environment.
Required Qualifications
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Plumbing or Mechanical Services
- Previous experience in plumbing and general maintenance environments
- Knowledge of building services and maintenance activities
- DIY and general maintenance skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively across different teams and departments
- Flexible approach with a willingness to support wider maintenance activities where required
