Job Summary
Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections of plumbing issues, accurately diagnose problems, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales. Proficiently install and repair various fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners. Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters, ensuring thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites. Prepare invoices, collect payment, and explain the Roto-Rooter guarantee in writing and on provided smartphones. Requires a valid driver's license, state plumbing license preferred, and three or more years of repair and service experience.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license
- Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience
- Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services
- Full knowledge of plumbing systems
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations
- Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement)
- Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state in which branch operates and performs service
