Job Summary
Support commercial construction projects by installing plumbing systems, including underground rough-ins, stack outs, and trim outs across the Gulf Coast region. Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures for water, gas, compressed air, and medical gas lines. Interpret blueprints and building specifications while utilizing copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and PEX piping. Duties include setting grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, and utility hookups. Requires 4+ years of commercial experience, a journeyman license, and the ability to read blueprints and operate equipment from ladders and man lifts. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- 4 + years of commercial plumbing experience
- Journeyman plumbing license
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Possess hand tools and trade specific tools
- Ability to direct the work of a helper or apprentice
- Able to work from ladders and man lifts from various heights and operate equipment as needed
- Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up-to 50 lbs
- Ability to pass a full background screening
- Ability to pass MVR
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to pass a physical ability test
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedule (including weekends, as required by project)
- Willingness to travel along the gulf coast and south Georgia, as needed, for projects
Desired Qualifications
- Medical gas certification
- OSHA 10 hour (company will provide, if needed)
