Plumber

Plumber II is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of water and waste disposal systems under supervision. Duties include measuring, cutting, threading, assembling, and installing pipes; connecting valves, caulking joints, and testing finished work by allowing water to flow. The role installs water and sanitary fixtures with supports and foundations, eliminates leaks by repacking valves or replacing faulty fittings, and replaces worn parts. Requires working knowledge of plumbing techniques, skill with plumbing tools and equipment, and the ability to understand and carry out oral or written instructions. NC Plumber Contractor Licensure is preferred or the ability to obtain license is required.
