Job Summary
Plumber role in Marriott hotel responsible for responding to guest repair requests and maintaining a wide range of hotel systems. Performs preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment, inspects and repairs plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC components, and operates all shut-off valves and building utility shut-offs. Maintains maintenance inventory, communicates daily activities and problems to other shifts, follows safety policies, and completes housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties. Requires basic computer skills and may involve painting, carpentry, landscaping, lighting, andTV/amenities setup as part of general hotel maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Driver’s License
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus
- No supervisory experience required
