Job Summary
Conduct daily plumbing maintenance, repair battle-damaged facilities, and execute defensive operations within base infrastructure. Install basic rough-in plumbing, plumbing fixtures, and split unit AC/R systems while performing basic brazing and threading on copper and galvanized pipe. Assist in the development of technical instruction modules for Seabee training at the Seabee Technical Trainer in Port Hueneme, CA, and Gulfport, MS. Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills to support Navy construction forces across the Pacific and Atlantic fleets. Requires a minimum of five years in military, commercial, or industrial plumbing, with a Secret level clearance or ability to obtain one.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years experience in military/commercial/industrial plumbing
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Secret level clearance required,OR can pass a background investigation to obtain a secret clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as Navy Utilitiesman will be considered
- Training/course development experience preferred
- Military experience preferred but not required
