Job Summary
Maintenance Plumber II in Facilities Management responsible for repairing and maintaining plumbing systems in a hospital facility. Demonstrates skills in plumbing of liquids and gases, reads plumbing and architectural drawings, follows established safety procedures, and works independently or with facility managers and team members to ensure compliant operation of equipment. Handles systems including low, medium, and high pressure steam systems, condensate return, steam traps, steam-operated valves, boilers (steam and hot water), feeds pumps, water softeners, and related components; experienced with boilers, HMI/PLC processes, and various pump types (centrifugal, pneumatic, steam-operated). Requires formal plumbing training such as an apprenticeship and the ability to read blueprints; may require a valid driver’s license. The role is located at Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah, with an hourly wage range of $28.09-$42.74 depending on experience.
