Job Summary
Lead plumbing projects including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan layouts, estimate materials and labor costs, and coordinate with clients and suppliers. Supervise junior plumbers and apprentices while ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards. Perform advanced tasks such as cutting, threading, welding, and soldering pipes, plus conduct thorough inspections to diagnose complex issues. Maintain accurate records of work and project progress. This role requires 4+ years of experience, a high school diploma, and availability for evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Plumber I or 5-10+ years in a plumbing role
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices
- Extensive experience in interpreting and analyzing blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
- Minimum 4+ years experience
- High School Diploma/GED
