Job Summary
Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems while conducting daily tasks like drain cleaning, soldering, brazing, and leak repairs. Install plumbing fixtures including sinks, showers, water heaters, and garbage disposals, ensuring all work adheres to plumbing codes and safety standards. Complete required documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System and perform preventive and corrective maintenance work orders. Provide mentorship and training to technicians on trade basics. This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work night shifts and be on call, and at least two years of commercial plumbing experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- Preventive and corrective maintenance responsibilities; minimum 2 years' maintenance experience in Plumbing for commercial environments
- Must be able to work general trade problems
- Must be a self-starter and motivated
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work night shifts
- Ability to be on call when needed
- Ability to replace Automatic Sprinkler heads for sprinkler system
- Must become familiar with the design and layout of the facility
- Must be a team player
