Job Summary
Experienced Plumber required to maintain, operate, and repair all plumbing systems aboard the cruise vessel LE BOREAL. Role covers plumbing maintenance outside the engine room, coordinating with various technical departments, and supporting engine operation when needed. Must have STCW 95 certification, shipboard plumbing experience, proficiency with technical drawings/manuals, fluent English, and the ability to work in confined spaces on a ship. Reports to Hotel Engineer with an Assistant Plumber as a subordinate. Rotation/contract details: 3 months +/-1; status Petty Officer; salary to be defined by contract.
Required Qualifications
- Valid STCW 95 certification
- Appropriate certification as required by regulations
- Extensive experience in subordinate positions and on board passenger ships as a Plumber or in a similar role
- Physically and medically fit
- Moral integrity is required
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and manuals
