Job Summary
Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on commercial plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems across assigned properties. Diagnose and repair leaks, backflows, and water heater failures while installing new piping and process lines. Execute multi-trade tasks including minor carpentry, electrical fixture repairs, and routine painting to maintain facilities. Complete work orders via tablet, generate service reports with inspection images, and submit timesheets. Provide estimates for larger projects and foster client relationships through direct communication. Maintain compliance with safety standards and attend weekly safety meetings. Travel daily between sites using a company vehicle to deliver efficient service.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc), or Specialty Floor Care
- Two to five years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry
- Equivalent combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience in one or more of the building trades
- Applicable certifications, licenses
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations
- Ability to use and operate handheld device and business systems or document management Database software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook (email), MS office (Word, Excel)
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Daily local travel between properties
- Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm in the face of the customer
