Job Summary
Conduct hands-on plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance for leaks, burst pipes, and drainage systems across homes and commercial properties recovering from water or fire damage. Diagnose leak sources using detection methods and respond to emergency callouts while supporting full property restoration including water mitigation, drying, mould remediation, and fire damage cleaning. Document each job with photos, notes, and moisture readings via a tablet, then liaise professionally with homeowners, tenants, insurers, and loss adjusters. Requires 2-3 years' experience, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, and a full UK driving licence. Join a fire and flood restoration team covering London and the M25, with an annual salary of £29,000–£41,000 and access to a company van and fuel card.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years' experience as a plumber
- Solid plumbing fundamentals, with an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, City & Guilds or equivalent — or working towards one
- A problem-solving mindset — you enjoy working out where a leak is coming from, not just fixing what's obvious
- A calm, friendly manner with customers, who are often having a bad week
- Confidence using a smartphone or tablet for reports, photos and timesheets
- Reliability — people are counting on you to turn up and finish the job properly
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
Desired Qualifications
- Leak detection experience — acoustic, thermal or tracer gas
