Job Summary
Repair or replace defective plumbing systems, including pipes, taps, toilets, sinks, radiators, and water heaters in social housing void properties. Install new fixtures to bring properties up to standard, ensuring all systems comply with safety regulations and local building codes. Perform routine maintenance, liaise with other tradespeople to coordinate repairs within agreed timelines, and maintain accurate work records for the Maintenance Supervisor. Adhere to health and safety procedures while providing professional customer service to tenants and contractors. Full UK driving license required; NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing essential.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification
- Full UK driving license
- Good knowledge of plumbing systems, including heating, drainage, and water supply
- Familiarity with relevant building regulations and health and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
