Job Summary
Assist the plumbing operation with installs, repairs, replacements, and maintenance of liquid waste, air, and gas lines. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while ensuring company vehicles and equipment are properly serviced. Observe and help plumbers assemble and install valves and pipe fittings, and repair valves, faucets, traps, sinks, washbowls, sewers, vents, and fixtures. Perform work in confined spaces like crawl spaces and utility tunnels, and work at heights using proper fall protection equipment. Follow all safety guidelines and industry codes under the direct supervision of a licensed master plumber to gain practical skills through on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
- Clean driving record.
- Able to complete work order upon completion of a job.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the plumbing trade.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Shift work required at times with differential pay.
- Highly motivated and self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively handle client inquiries and concerns.
