Job Summary
Plumber Apprentice role with Paul Bunyan Plumbing & Drains focusing on hands-on training in residential plumbing and drain services. Learn from experienced plumbers while assisting with installations, repairs, maintenance, and drain cleaning; diagnose issues, read work orders and technical information, prepare job sites, organize materials, load equipment, and maintain vehicles; operate hand and power tools and follow plumbing codes and safety standards. Emphasis on customer service, ongoing training, licensing opportunities, and career development. Emphasizes physical work, problem solving, and teamwork in a full-time role based in New Hope, MN with on-site duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Enrolled in or willing to enroll in an approved plumbing apprenticeship program
- Previous construction, mechanical, automotive, farming, landscaping, or other hands on experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong desire to build a long term career in the plumbing trade
- Ability to follow instructions and learn from licensed plumbers and supervisors
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Comfortable working in basements, crawl spaces, outdoors, and other job site environments
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and pre employment screening
