Job Summary
The Apprentice Plumber will assist Journeyman Plumber(s) in installation, maintenance, and repairs associated with plumbing and heating in a large manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include facilitating, investigating, and solving plumbing issues, managing work priorities, and adhering to safety standards. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, excellent attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse environment. The position demands the ability to communicate clearly and work efficiently under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Registered as an apprentice in Alberta
- Enrolled in a recognized trade school
- Ability to work under supervision and independently
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Experience with routine electrical maintenance operations (asset)
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Able to braze/solder copper pipe
- Able to work with PVC pipe
