Job Summary
Lead packing and shipping operations at the Elkhart facility as part of the Plant Management Team. Plan and schedule packing, load, and shipping activities to meet customer demand and line efficiency. Direct the department to follow policies and collaborate with other departments. Manage day-to-day operations, analyze production processes for performance, develop/work methods, authorize overtime, and control costs. Oversee non-conforming reports and RMAs to identify causes and implement corrective actions to eliminate quality defects. Maintain a safe, high-quality, cost-conscious shipping environment; demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead teams at multiple levels and drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of Supervisory experience in related industry
- Demonstrated ability to work in and through teams, with all levels of the workplace
- Keen listening/communication abilities to lead improvement processes within various areas and levels of organization
- Skills in conflict resolution are required
